Day Trip to Hassocks to Upper Beeding

Walking is another of my many passions.  I have been doing this for 2 years now, mostly around spring summer and autumn time. I have been out walking in winter as well last year- which is something i never did before- I wanted to be out walking in the snow, there are amazing scenery as long as you wrap up warm and have on you waterproofs and right shoes. Never forget your camera... :D

Snowdonia weekend Trip with friends tried hiking in the snow. Breathtaking views
You can join up a group of friend or family and go away for the day or for the weekend right here in the UK. There is so much to see and Uk has one of the most beautiful Country sides.
I tend to go walking with friends and sometimes just join groups that specialize in walking day trips or weekends away in the countryside. Walking in the country’s open spaces is an amazing way to relax the mind at the same time get the chance to excersice. The scenery out there is by far better than the four walls at the gym.

Hassocks to Upper Beading
During the walks we usually stop over some picturesque village pub, restaurant or Kiosks for lunch.  The last walk was in Hassocks to upper Beading via Devils Dyke and southdowns escarpments. This was a Day trip, we stopped over at this little charming village Tea kiosk called the HIKERS REST.

Stopped for lunch at the Hikers Rest
They serve scrumptious Tea-cakes, Panini, Sandwiches, and Desserts; the tea was served in gorgeous vintage teacups which I love. You can also buy a variety of homemade Relishes and Jams from saddlescombe Farm.

Home Made Relish produced from Saddlescombe Farm bought at Hikers Rest
